托福TOEFL準備課程

沙夫斯頓時提供為期10週的全日制托福準備課程。欲讀此課程的學生需達到中級，中高級或高英文水平。

TOEFL考試成績被美國，加拿大，英國及澳大利亞的大學文泛接受作為入學語言要求。

本課程將有系統性的全面協助學生提升考試技巧――閱讀，聽力，口語，句子結構與寫作。

新托福（IBT）考試分為四個部份

聽力考試部份主要檢驗學生是否能聽懂美式發音及其所表達的意思;閱讀考試檢驗學生快速閱讀學術文章並獲取該文章所要表達的主要意思;口語考試主要檢測學生是否能清晰流利表達自己的見解;而寫作考試主要檢驗學生是否能掌握標準的英文寫作方法並透過寫作來表達自己的見解。

沙夫斯頓所提供的托福課程將指導學生如何採用整體考試策略，在有限的時間內快速獲得重點信息並正確作答，使學生能在真正的考試中獲得高分。除了考試技巧外，本校課程還將教導學生如何加強詞彙量，詞彙運用能力及聽力的有效提高。

沙夫斯頓是ETS 托福iBT 正式授權考試中心，學生可直接在本校報名並參加考試。
